Student engagement is an important component of student career decision making. Schools are tasked with informing and inspiring their students while evidencing the meeting of statutory guidance. While this goes on, organisations are tasked with engaging with students for CSR or recruitment purposes. Both groups are using outdated methods and processes that are disorganised and time-consuming. This observation carved the way for the Careers Calendar, a digital platform born in the Birmingham entrepreneurial ecosystem, created to support the student career decision-making journey as well as the process of engagement.
The session will talk about innovation in student engagement and the role of technology, providing the audience with a story they can draw inspiration and information.
