Digi-Rail is a significantly SME focussed project, part-funded by ERDF and the University of Birmingham, sitting within the Birmingham Centre for Railway Research and Education. The project provides technical and business/commercial support to eligible SMEs looking to enter or grow their business in the rail industry, focussing on supplying the Digital Railway.

Digi-Rail provides access to business and rail supply chain specialists; technical experts with specialist skills in designing and developing digital solutions; state-of-the-art technology and equipment; and a network of contacts across the rail industry.
